Youth Support Worker
For those working in a supporting role to professionally qualified workers (often this is not an individuals' main career and they may do this work in the evenings in addition to their main job)
- QCF/RQF Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice (minimum 27 credits)
- QCF/RQF Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice (minimum 26 credits)
These courses are delivered locally so look on your local authority website under 'y' in the A-Z section to find contact details of your local Youth Service and manager. They will be able to provide details of youth work training available.
In Wales, the Agored Cymru level 2 & 3 qualifications are used by many local authorities
They are delivered locally by Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales
Some local authorities use other awarding organisations.
